Tal Raviv MD, FACS, presents a young woman who rapidly developed cataracts over a two week period. In the first eye, the capsulorhexis radializes almost instantaneously. To avoid this occurrence in the second eye, liquified cortex is removed prior to initiating the capsulorhexis.
